Six Killed, Two Injured in Car-Lorry Collision in Srikalahasti

Tirupati: At least six people were killed and two others sustained serious injuries in a tragic road accident in Srikalahasti of Tirupati district on Sunday. The accident occurred when a speeding lorry collided with a car near Mitta Kandriga in Srikalahasti.

The injured were shifted to a nearby hospital where they are undergoing treatment. The eight occupants of the car were residents of Vijayawada and were going to Srikalahasti from Tirupati. The local police registered a case and investigation is on.
