APSRTC Bus Tickets Now Available on Google Maps: Steps to Book Your Tickets

Travelling by bus in Andhra Pradesh just became simpler and more convenient. The Andhra Pradesh State Road Transport Corporation (APSRTC) has partnered with Google to allow passengers to book bus tickets directly through Google Maps. Now, searching for a route won’t just show distance and travel time; you can also view available APSRTC buses and reserve your seat online.

Step-by-Step Booking on Google Maps

Search for your route on Google Maps, for example, from Vijayawada to Visakhapatnam. Along with travel times and distance for bikes, cars, and trains, you’ll see bus options powered by APSRTC’s schedules. Click on the bus icon to see a full list of APSRTC buses on that route, including departure times and estimated travel duration. Clicking on a specific bus option takes you directly to the APSRTC website, where you can book your ticket and make payment online—no need to visit the bus station.

Successful Pilot Run

APSRTC and Google first tested this feature on the Vijayawada–Hyderabad route. The pilot was successful, with multiple bookings completed smoothly over several days.

For this service, APSRTC provided Google with detailed data, including which AC, Super Luxury, and Deluxe buses run on which routes. Google verified bus stop locations with latitude and longitude coordinates, conducted audits, and approved the system three days ago.

Coming Soon to All Routes

Soon, passengers will be able to book tickets on all APSRTC routes with reservation facilities directly via Google Maps, making travel planning easier and more streamlined than ever before.
