Dhanush Fakir World Premieres on May 22

Actor Dhanush who has a massive fan following in Kollywood is gearing up to test his luck in Hollywood. For those who are not in the know, Dhanush's upcoming international project Fakir is all set to have world premieres on May 22 in Paris.

An excited Dhanush shared this news with his fans on his twitter handle. Take a look at the tweet:

Ever since Fakir film went on floors it has created enough buzz amongst the movie buffs and audiences. The makers of the movie have doubled the audience expectations on this after releasing the trailer from the film which has piqued the interest as well as garnered record number of views on youtube. The film is inspired by the novel ‘The Extraordinary Journey of The Fakir’ Who Got Trapped in an Ikea Wardrobe, which was released in 2014.

On the other hand, recently, Dhanush was seen promoting his film Fakir at the recently held Cannes Film Festival 2018 where he walked the red carpet for the prestigious event. Fakir is helmed by Ken Scott. The film also stars Bérénice Bejo, Barkhad Abdi and Erin Moriarty who will appear in key roles. The Tamil version and title of the film ‘Vazhaiya Thedi Naanum Poren’ is likely to see the light of the day in the month of July. So far, the filmmakers haven't made any official announcement about the Tamil release date. We will update it as soon as they make an official word. Watch this space for all latest updates on movies.
