Naga Chaitanya and Samantha Get Engaged

Hyderabad: Actor Naga Chaitanya and Samantha got engaged on Sunday. It was purely a private function attended by family and close friends from the industry.

Father Nagarjuna ran out of words to express his happiness over his elder son’s engagement and made an official announcement on his Twitter handle immediately.

"Can't express my happiness in words. It's official now. My mother is my daughter now. Couldn't be happier," Nagarjuna tweeted. Remember Samantha acted as Nag's mother in Manam?

Nagarjuna shared a family picture featuring the entire Akkineni clan, including his second soon-to-be daughter-in-law Shriya Bhupal, who will marry his younger son Akhil.

On the special occasion Samantha wore a specially designed sari and Chai suited up. The duo has been in a relationship for three years, who first met on the sets of 'Ye Maaya Chesave' and then went on to work together in 'Autonagar Surya' and 'Manam'.
