Municipal Engineer Trapped Accepting Bribe of Rs 20,000 Commits Suicide  

Nizamabad: Venkateswarlu, an executive engineer committed suicide here on Saturday after anti-corruption officials caught him red-handed accepting a bribe of Rs 20,000.

The executive engineer got depressed on being caught in a graft case, following which he jumped off from his office building in the afternoon

However, his colleagues staged a protest over the death and demanded ACB DSP's arrest over their high handedness during the raids. They later gheraoed the hospital and raised slogans against ACB.
