Mother along with 2-year-old daughter commits suicide by jumping from 14th floor

Hyderabad: A mother along with her two-year-old daughter committed suicide by jumping from 14th floor of an apartment in Kachiguda on Friday.

Police said, Renuka, (34), who was living with her 2-year-old daughter here, climbed up to the terrace of the 14-storeyed building with the toddler and jumped from there on the ground in the afternoon. Both mother and the child died on the spot.

The woman’s husband and in-laws said she was mentally disturbed for some time while her parents expressed doubts on their role behind the death.

Police reached the spot and sent the bodies to hospital for postmortem after filing a case. The reasons behind the mishap are yet to be found.
