Mopidevi applies for bail in CBI court

Former excise minister Mopidevi Venkataramna, who was arrested by the CBI in connection with the VANPIC case filed a bail plea before the special CBI court in Hyderabad on Friday.

Mopidevi is under judicial remand and lodged at the Chanchalguda jail since his arrest by CBI on May 24.
