Miscreants rob house on pretext of wedding invite

We heard of cases where con men strike at a house posing as income tax officers. But the latest robbery in Vijayawada is more innovative than you can imagine.

Two unknown persons entered a house with wedding cards saying they had come to invite them for marriage.
This incident took place at flat No. 106 in a Luxury apartments at Patamatalanka in Vijayawada. According to reports, the miscreants entered the house when the owner of the flat left for work. They knocked the bell of the house and showed the wedding cards when a woman opened the door. They even said that they are  friends of her husband. Soon after they entered house, they threatened her at gunpoint and robbed the house.

The police and dog squad were pressed into action. A case has been registered.
Bottom line is be on guard.
