Mentally Challenged Patient Jumps Off From Gandhi Hospital

Hyderabad: A mentally challenged patient committed suicide by jumping off from Gandhi Hospital Building on Sunday morning.

Giri, a native of Mahabubnagar, was undergoing treatment in the Neurology ward at Gandhi Hospital. On Sunday morning, the man went to the terrace of the hospital building and allegedly committed suicide by jumping off from the building. He died on the spot.

The hospital staff said that the victim was suffering from mental illness and was undergoing treatment in the hospital.

Police registered a case and sent the body for post-mortem.
