Medaram Sammakka, Saralamma Jatara 2018 Dates Announced

Telangana's biggest biennial tribal jatara at Medaram in Jayashankar Bhupalapally district will be held on January 31 and February 1, 2018, according to the pujaris in-charge of the podium.

Devotees will be offering their offerings on February 2 and the deities will re-enter the forest on February 3, the pujari committee of the jatara decided on Wednesday.

More than a crore people from Telugu states, Maharashtra, Cchattisgarh, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu and other places visit the jatara which is conducted every two years.
