Man kills wife, son; commits suicide in Hyderabad

In a horrific incident, a man killed his wife and son by setting them ablaze and killed himself in Hafeezpet area in Hyderabad.

Sharat, native of Gulbarga district in Karnataka, worked as a painter and was an alcoholic, police said.

 His drinking problem led to a quarrel with the wife on March 14, police said. After she and the son went to sleep, Sharat poured kerosene on them and set them on fire.

 Later he set himself on fire.

 The son died on March 14 itself while Sharat died yesterday and his wife died today during the treatment, inspector K Purushotham of Miyapur police station said.
