Man Held For Misbehaving With Woman On Flight

Hyderabad: A 60-year-old British national was arrested on Monday for allegedly misbehaving with a woman co-passenger on a flight which was destined for the city from Singapore.

B Anthony in an inebriated state misbehaved with a 35-year-old woman on the flight, sub-inspector V Srinivas of Rajiv Gandhi International Airport police station said.

The woman, who works at a business school here, lodged a complaint with police on arrival.

A case under IPC section for 'outraging the modesty of a woman' was filed against Anthony, who was arrested on Monday. A local court remanded him in judicial custody.

Anthony visited the city frequently on business assignments, the police officer said.
