Man Gets 10 Years Jail For Raping Minor Girl 

Nawada: A court here today sentenced a man to rigorous imprisonment (RI) for 10 years for raping a three-and-a-half-year-old girl in 2013.

Additional District and Sessions Judge Om Prakash Srivastava awarded the sentence to Bikesh Kumar alias Bhalu and also slapped a fine of Rs 1 lakh, which will be paid to the victim's family.

The judge found him guilty under the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act, 2012.

Kumar had raped the girl at her house on July 19, 2013, when she was alone, Additional Public Prosecutor Rajesh Kumar Sinha said. PTI
