Leopard Enters Village, Climbs Up Power Pole, Gets Electrocuted

Nizamabad: In a tragic incident, a leopard died a tragic death when it scaled an electric pole and was electrocuted.

The incident occurred on Monday at Mallaram forest area in Nizamabad district. According to the forest officials, the leopard strayed into human habitat from the adjoining forest.

The villagers, who noticed the feline, alerted the forest officials. Some of them tried to scare away the animal fearing that it might attack them. In the melee, the animal panicked and scaled an electric pole. In no time, the wild cat suffered electrocution as it touched live wires.
