Kannada film industry, our very own Sandalwood is trying to cash in on the Sankranti festive season. It is during this time that families come together to celebrate the festival and take time out to watch films.

The films for release around the festive time are : Shiva Rajkumar's Tagaru, Dalapathi, Chase, followed by Katha Sangama, Orange, Humble Politician Nograj, Kumari 21F, Garuda, The Villain, Huccha 2, Raju - Kannada Medium, Samhaara, Vasu - Naan Pakka Commercial.
