Jana Reddy flays arrest of Telanagana MPs

Panchayati Raj Minister K. Jana Reddy condemned the arrests of MPs from Telangana and described their arrests as a painful development.

The minister demanded that the government should release the MPs immediately. Arguing that every individual had the right to protest in a democracy, Jana Reddy said that the police ought to treat the MPs with due respect.
