Jaitley and Venkaiah are Liars: Botsa

Hyderabad: Union ministers Venkaiah Naidu and Union Finance Minister Arun Jaitley lied in the public meeting at the foundation laying ceremony of Amaravati, YSR Congress Party Leader Botsa Satyanarayana alleged.

The two ministers laid the foundation stone for administrative city and construction of roads in the new capital of Andhra Pradesh, respectively. Botsa said that Chandrababu spent most of the time on praising the Union ministers Venkaiah Naidu and Jaitley while completely ignoring the state's interest in his speech.

Botsa said that the Central government has sanctioned IITs, IIMs and Central Universities to those states, which are smaller than AP. “Jaitley announced that Union government is giving Rs.2 Lakh crores to AP whereas the said amount was already approved by the 14th Finance Commission,” he said. Botsa questioned Chandrababu's silence when he should have asked Jaitley on the special package to AP. Botsa cautioned the chief minister that the people of Andhra Pradesh are not ignorant and they are watching his words and deeds.
