IKP workers try to lay a siege to secretariat

Indira Kranthi Padham (IKP) workers staged a dharna at the Indira Park in Hyderabad demanding immediate release of their wages. 


More than 2000 IKP volunteers from 9 districts of Telangana on Saturday arrived in the capital. The workers who were angry over the government's lack of response towards their long-pending demands. 

The IKP employees tried to lay a siege to the secretariat, but their attempt was foiled by the police.This led to heated argument between IKP workers and the Police. To bring the situation under control, the police had to cane charge the protesters.
