Hyd blasts: Rs 6 lakh ex-gratia for permanent disability

The State Cabinet which called for an emergency meeting on Friday in the wake of twin blasts at Dilshuknagar, condemned the incident and expressed deep condolences to the families of the deceased.

The Cabinet announced an ex-gratia of Rs 6 lakhs to the families of the deceased and also those who were disabled permanently.

Minister D K Aruna said about 117 people were injured in the blast and condition of the four was critical. The Govt would bear all the expenditure for the medical treatment.

Meanwhile, Union Minister Chiranjeevi and BJP president Rajnath Singh visited Omni Hospital and consoled the injured persons in the twin blast.
