Human sacrifice bid for treasure foiled in Adilabad

People of a remote village in Adilabad district prevented a human sacrifice attempt by chasing the miscreants.

According to belated reports, some unidentified persons made an attempt to go for human sacrifice to get a treasure at Kabji village in Vennela mandal of Adilabad district. Alerted by suspicious activity during the nights, the villagers chased the miscreants to capture them. They disappeared from the scene leaving some material in the spot. On a complaint, police visited the place and launched a manhunt for the accused.
