Heatwave To Continue In Telangana; People Cautioned Against Exposure To Sun

Hyderabad: The India Meteorological Department (IMD) in a bulletin said that the heat wave conditions are likely to prevail at isolated places in Telangana on Tuesday and Wednesday.

The IMD further advised people to be cautious of high intensity Ultra-Violet (UV) radiation and stay indoors till 5pm. The mercury is likely to be above 42 degrees Celsius at few places across the State.

The heat wave conditions are likely to prevail at isolated places in the districts of Kothagudem, Nalgonda, Suryapet, Khammam, Jagtial, Wanaparthy and Nagarkurnool for next 48 hours (today and tomorrow), it said.

Dry weather is likely to prevail over the state with maximum temperatures likely to be above normal by 2 to 4 degrees Celsius, it said.
