HC stays Vijayawada court orders in cash for vote scam

High court on Thursday stayed the Vijayawada Court orders asking telecom dealers to produce them call data in sealed cover.

It also stated that Vijayawada Court has no right to ask for the Phone Tapping Data of the Telangana Government. It further asked the Vijayawada Court to hand over the sealed covers having the call data submitted to them by the telecom dealers- unopened.

It adjourned the investigation on Telangana Government’s petition questioning Vijayawada court jurisdiction to investigate phone tapping issue in cash for vote scam to August 4
