HC serves notices on Wakf lands lease

State High Court on Monday issued notices to Wakf Board and Minority Welfare Department on the lease of Wakf lands.

A petition was filed in the High Court challenging the GO No.142 issued in connection with lease of lands belonged to Wakf Board. Accepting the petition, the High Court asked the Wakf Board and the Minority Welfare Department seeking a report on the lease.
