Former nizam's daughter-in-law passes away

Sahebzadi Faizunnisa Begum, daughter-in-law of Mir Osman Ali Khan, the last ruler of the erstwhile princely state of Hyderabad, died here Friday. She was 92.

She was the eldest living daughter-in-law of the seventh Nizam of Hyderabad, said Nawab Najaf Ali Khan, a grandson of the Nizam.

She was married to Prince Nawab Hasham Jah Bahadur in 1935. The Nizam had attended the marriage and presented her two gold bangles. He had personally dropped the couple at their residence.

The couple had five sons and a daughter.
