Ex-minister Alapati Raja arrested in Guntur

Former minister and Telugu Desam Party leader Alapati Rajendra Prasad (Raja) has been arrested for allegedly attacking a person called Raghava Rao on Sunday in Guntur.

He was taken into custody in the afternoon on Sunday, after Raghava Rao lodged a complaint with Pattabhipuram police alleging that the TDP leader had bashed up him, reports said.
