This Actress Charged Rs 2 Crores For 15 Days Call Sheet
Pooja Hegde undoubtedly is one of the most sought after actress in Tollywood. She has not only impressed everyone with her acting chops but also has found a place in people's hearts. Sometime back, people often ridiculed her for being a part of unsuccessful movies. The scenario changed last year when she delivered a blockbuster hit - 'Aravinda Sametha' with Jr NTR. As of now, a slew of interesting films are lined up in her kitty with stars like Mahesh Babu, Prabhas, Allu Arjun and among others.
According to sources, Pooja Hedge has been roped to essay the female lead in Varun Tej's 'Valmik' which is remake hit of Tamil hit Jigarthanda. In earlier reports, makers decided to give a chance to debutant actress to prove her talent with 'Valmik' movie. However, they seem to change their mind. While Jigarthada features Lakshmi Menon in a rather limited female lead role, the makers of its Telugu version seem to have roped in Pooja Hegde to build hype around the movie. Pooja's appearance in the film would be limited and they have requested her to adjust her call sheet for 15 days only. For this, Pooja is believed to have charged a Rs 2 Crore for her appearance in the movie.
While Varun Tej will be seen in the lead role of a gangster in the remake, Tamil actor Atharvaa Murali will be seen playing one of the other central characters.
Meanwhile, Pooja Hegde is looking forward to 'Maharshi' which is hitting the big screens on May 9. For the first time, she is sharing screen space with Mahesh Babu. If 'Maharshi' performs well at the box office, then Pooja would be a queen for Telugu filmmakers.
