No Telugu Actor Wants To Host Bigg Boss After Nani Debacle
Telugu actors are no more restricting themselves to movies. Playing cricket matches, brand endorsement deals and most importantly, appearing on TV shows seem to be their other ways to stay in the news and also make some quick bucks.
There are a few shows on the small screen which can get them enough money during their break from movies. One such show is the reality show Bigg Boss. Earlier, we would hear top heroes sending out feelers to TV show organisers to sign them up to host the show. However, it appears now the scenario is entirely different.
It's common knowledge that the recently concluded season of Telugu Bigg Boss was a huge hit. The show garnered record TRPs. However, the show was also dogged by several controversies thanks to the contestants, content and also fans who trolled host Nani who hosted season 2 of the show. Nani was under tremendous pressure to deliver and he had to be fair to all contestants whether he liked it or not. Despite trying his best to be unbiased, he came in for heavy criticism from fans of Bigg boss contestants on social media. As expected, Nani too like the audience couldn't wait for the show to wrap up so he could get back to his safe territory—films.
After finishing the final episode, the grand finale of Bigg Boss 2 Nani has bid adieu to the small screen, at least for now. And there's no way he would be a contestant or a host ever for Bigg Boss. The show organisers are now gearing up to begin the third season and scouting for host and contestants. There are several celebrities wanting to be a part of the show, but unfortunately, we hear no actor is willing to host the tv show. Looks like the jinx Nani faced and the love he lost from the audience is fresh in the minds of people and no Telugu actor is willing to take that chance.
In effect, we hear that organisers are finding it hard to convince Tollywood actors to host Bigg Boss Telugu 3. It remains to be seen who will be that daring actor to take up this challenge. Which actor will host Bigg Boss 3 has become a hot topic of discussion in telly circles among movie buffs. Rana Daggubati's name is doing the rounds as host for Bigg Boss 3. So far, neither Rana or the organisers haven't responded to this rumor. We will all get enough answers from a couple of weeks from now, shortly.
Bigg Boss Telugu was being shot at Annapurna Studios in Hyderabad. The season-3 too is expected to continue in the same sets. It would take some time for organisers to finalise the contestants and host. If everything falls in place, then Bigg Boss 3 could go on air by end of this year. An official confirmation about the same is awaited from show organisers.
