Electricity Board Engineer Held For Accepting Bribe

Hyderabad: An Additional Assistant Engineer was arrested on Wednesday by ACB sleuths as he was accepting a bribe of Rs 25,000 from Md Shafiq Ahmed to provide electricity to his fields in Patlur village of Ranga Reddy district.

The cash was recovered from the car of N Yedukondulu Reddy,Additional Assistant Engineer at Marpalle Section, Electricity Department, Ranga Reddy district.

The accused will be produced in court on Thursday, ACB official said
