Drinking water issue be resolved through Discussions: Deveneni

Vijayawada:  “It is not correct to make an issue out of drinking water distribution “ said Andhra Pradesh minister Devineni Uma in reaction to Harish Rao’s alligations.

Harish Rao was reportedly anguished over a letter sent to the center by Chief Minister Chandra Babu Naidu stating that both Palamuru and DMD lift irrigation projects by Telangana were latest ones . Harish Rao had also stated that the Telangana Government was constructing the projects on Krishna river as per the rights allocated to them during bifurcation.

AP Minister Devineni Uma in reply to Harish Rao said that it was not nice of Harish Rao to make an issue out of Drinking water distribution between the states . He further stated that the issue should be resolved through discussions between the two sates
