Devendra Fadnavis is Maharashtra CM

Young Devendra Fadnavis will be the first ever BJP chief minister of Maharashtra.

He was unanimously elected the leader of the BJP legislature party leader on Tuesday. He will also be the youngest CM of Maharashtra. He will be the 18th chief minister of the state.
The 122 party MLAs, who attended the meeting supported his candidature. His election was a smooth affair. His name was proposed by senior MLA Eknath Khadse and all the MLAs supported his candidature.
A leader from the backward Vidarbha region, Fadnavis is a Brahmin, a numerically minor and politically insignificant community.
