Criminal Case Against Digvijaya Singh For Tweeting Against Telangana Police 

Hyderabad: After stirring up a controversy by making allegations against the Telangana police department, a criminal case has been registered against AICC general secretary Digvijaya Singh on Thursday in Jubilee Hills police station in Hyderabad.

It may be recalled that Congress leader Digvijaya Singh tweeted a couple of days ago alleging that the Telangana police hosted a website to radicalise youth to fight for terrorist organisation – ISIS.

Angry over this, Telangana Miniter K. Taraka Rama Rao immediately tweeted demanding the Congress leader to apologise for the remarks or prove his allegations with evidence.

The police received two complaints from Jubilee Hills and another from Karimnagar commissionarate following the tweet from Digvijaya Singh. However, the police did not register any case immediately.
