Bride Commits Suicide, Parents Allege Harassment 

Srikakulam District: A newly married bride committed suicide by hanging herself on Thursday night at Kurmannapalem, Vishakapatnam district. According to the victim's brother, Lankalapalli Krishna, Rohini (25) and Mohan Kumar got married on August 25th. Mohan works as Assistant Manager in a pharma company at Paravada, Vishakapatnam.

The couple used to live in an apartment at Kurmannapalem from September 3rd. On 27th night, when Mohan returned from his office, he found that wife hanging. Immediately, he informed his in-laws who reached the place on the same night. The victim's family filed a complaint in the police station.

The victim's family alleged that Rohini was unable to bear the harassment of her husband and committed suicide. Earlier, Rohini had complained to her parents about Mohan, but they convinced her and sent her back to him. They demanded severe action against Mohan Kumar.
