CRDA bill introduced in AP Assembly

The TDP government on Monday introduced the Capital Region Development Authority (CRDA) Bill in the Andhra Pradesh legislative assembly.

The bill was introduced after the house reassembled post the ruckus over TDP MLA Gorantla Butchaiah Chowdary's comments on YSRCP MLA Roja.

Speaking on the occasion, Minister Narayana said the capital that would be set up would be the pride of all Telugu speaking people. The plan for the capital would be prepared by the Singaporean authorities, he revealed. He said there would be special provisions for land-pooling.

The farmers, who part with their lands, would be given land-pooling certificates within 9 months. However, leader of Oppostion demanded taht the government clearly spell out the compensation packages being given to the farmers.
