Contract Teachers Gherao CM Camp Office

Hyderabad: Contract residential teachers gheraoed Chief Minister's camp office demanding regularisation of their jobs.

Tense situation prevailed in the city on Wednesday as large number of teachers organised a rally. Minor scuffle took place when police tried to restrain them from reaching CM camp office.

Later police arrested the protesters and sent them to Goshamahal stadium. Teachers said that KCR had promised them job regularisation and demanded that he fulfill it. Women teachers slammed the police for arresting them when they only came to meet the CM and explain their woes.
