CM desperate for Cabinet expansion, seeks Sonia approval

On the second day of his Delhi trip, Chief Minister Kiran Kumar Reddy once again met  AICC general secretary and state affairs in-charge Ghulam Nabi Azad on Friday.

It is learnt that the chief minister has sought an audience with Congress president Sonia Gandhi.

He is said to have appealed to the Congress High Command for cabinet reshuffle following the resignation of two ministers—Sabitha Indira Reddy and Dharmana Prasada Rao and also the revolt by senior ministers in the Cabinet.
