Kurnool: YSRCP MLA from Nandikotkur, Isaiah lashed out at Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister, Nara Chandrababu Naidu for changing his stance on Special Category Status to the state, by the hour. Speaking to media persons in Kurnool earlier in the day, Isaiah criticised the TDP regime for being neck-deep in corruption and wondered how someone who owned only two acres of land now was worth thousands of crores. Chandrababu needs to clarify this first, he said.

Chandrababu was trying to cheat the people of the state by singing a different tune each time on SCS, he added. Chandrababu, who first extended his support to the No-Confidence motion tabled by YSRCP, did a complete U-turn later, he said. Isaiah said that Naidu, who claimed that he had made more than 25 trips to the national capital, should explain to the people what he had achieved through these visits. The YSRCP MLA asked Chandrababu whether a single youth got a job during his four year-old rule.

Isaiah demanded that Naidu reveal the connection between his son, Lokesh and the accused in a money laundering case involving crores of rupees, Sekhar Reddy, who was arrested by the CBI for exchanging crores of demonetized currency. The YSRCP MLA accused Lokesh of earning crores of rupees using Sekhar Reddy as a front.

Vizianagaram: YSRCP MLC Veerabhadra Swamy hit out at Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu for ridiculing YSRCP's demand for Special Category Status to the state all along and changing his tune now. It was farcical to see the same Chandrababu now claiming to fight for SCS to AP. When YSRCP asked Chandrababu to join hands on the issue of SCS, Naidu tried to deceive the people of the state by saying that SCS was no Sanjeevini.

Chandrababu, who bought over YSRCP MLAs with huge sums of money, had no moral right to speak of values, Veerabhadra Swamy said. The YSRCP MLC criticised Naidu for lashing out at actor and Jana Sena founder, Pawan Kalyan who had campaigned for the TDP-BJP alliance in 2014. Chandrababu who never spared a thought for people's welfare, was now indulging in politicking, in view of impending elections, he said.

The masses are fully aware of the reality of the situation as to who has been fighting for Special Category Status for four years, he added. The YSRCP MLC said that people of the state would not forgive Chandrababu and will teach him a lesson. The citizens of AP are in mood to get deceived any further by Chandrababu, who is steeped in corruption. He added that YSRCP had no need to lobby with the Centre, unlike the TDP, which had nothing else for four years.
