Hyderabad: The Telangana Cab Drivers and Owners Association (TCDOA) has threatened to revive their strike again by begging on streets half-naked on Friday. TCDOA president V. Shiva said their previous strike couldn’t get any response from the state government and taxi aggregators as well.

Shiva We have decided to intensify it and we will go half naked and beg near the traffic signals. The next day we will cook on the streets to protest against Ola and Uber

Addressing a press conference on Tuesday Shiva said their strike didn't give any conclusive results. Instead of solving the problem the government took the side of taxi aggregators, he said.

"We have decided to intensify it and we will go half naked and beg near the traffic signals. The next day we will cook on the streets to protest against Ola and Uber," said Shiva.

It may be recalled that on New Year's eve nearly one lakh drivers attached to the cab operators took five-day protest against Ola and Uber demanding fulfillment of their pending demands. Their demands were from scrapping the cab-sharing system to stopping the cab-leasing scheme of aggregators.
