BM Birla Science Prizes For 2015 And 2016 Announced

The BM Birla Science Centre, Hyderabad, announced its Science Prizes for the years 2015 and 2016 on Wednesday. The Centre's director BG Sidharth released the list of winners.

2015 - Mathematics

Dr. Dishant M Pancholi of Chennai Mathematical Institute, Kelambakkam, Tamil NaduDr. Neena Gupta of Indian Statistical Institute, Kolkota

2015 - Chemistry

Dr. Rahul Banerjee of CSIR-National Chemical Laboratory, Pune

2016 - Physics

Dr. Sudarshan Ananth of Indian Institute of Science Education and Research, PuneDr. Parinda Vasa of the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay

2016 - Biology

Dr. Arun Kumar Shukla of Indian Institute of Technology, KanpurDr. Maddika Subba Reddy of Centre for DNA Fingerprinting & Diagnostics (CDFD) Hyderabad

The B.M. Birla Science Prizes for Physics and Mathematics would be given away end December while the B.M. Birla Science Prizes for Biology and Chemistry would be given away before the end of January 2018.
