BJP opposes sub-plan funds for reimbursing power bills

BJP State president G Kishan Reddy on Monday took strong exception over Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy’s announcement to use SC, ST sub-plan funds for electricity bill waiver for SCs and STs.

The BJP leader said it was against the constitution. The government should reimburse the electricity bills below 50 units of SCs and STs, but the funds from SC, ST sub-plan should not be used.
