BC leader accuses govt of slashing quota

The government is trying to slash the quota of reservations for BCs in local organisations, the  BC welfare association president Krishnaiah claimed here today. He demanded that a constitutional amendment be made on the quotas for BCs soon.

The BC leader also stated that they would organize a statewide conference on this issue tomorrow. To protest against the Kiran Kumar Redd's government attitude towards BCs, he would organise a Chalo Hyderabad program on Sep 26, he added.
