ICC Champions Trophy: Bangladesh Set A Descent Target Of 265 For India
Birmingham: Bangladesh on Thursday posted a descent target of 265 to India in the semifinal match of Champions Trophy being played at Birmingham in England.
Though there were no big shots played by the top batsmen from the beginning of the innings, pinch-hitter Mashrafe Mortaza added some crucial runs with his bat in the final overs.
Runs tricked down to the fine leg boundary with top-edges off short deliveries. Pick of the bowlers were Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Jasprit Bumrah and Kedar Jadhav picked up two wickets each while spinner Ravindra Jadeja claimed a wicket.
Star spinner in the team Ravichandran Ashwin could not even pick a single wicket. His performance appears to be awful in the entire series as he could able to pick four wickets only.
