Putta Sudhakar Yadav’s Son Abuses YSRCP Leaders

Telugu Desam Party (TDP) Mydukur candidate and TTD trust Board Chairman Putta Sudhakar Yadav, who was in the news recently after the Income Tax department, on Wednesday, raided his residence in Proddatur. Today on Friday morning an audio file surfaced with the voice of his son Mahesh Yadav, abusing a YSRCP leaders' son. In the file that went viral, the TDP leader's son is heard hurling filthy abuses laced with derogatory social and caste based comments.

At around 3:30pm on Thursday, Mekala Balakrishna Yadav, son of Mekala Rathnakumar Yadav a YSRCP leader from B Matham Mandal in Mydukur, received a call from an unknown number. As soon as he lifted the call, the person on the other side went on a tirade of unprintable abuses, saying that once the elections are over he would "fix" him, and would see how his father would stay alive. The TDP would win the elections and once they form the government, he would see how they all come out alive. When Balakrishna Yadav objected to his language, Mahesh started hurling more abuses and said that they were made use of for the past five years and switched parties. Not stopping there, he asked if Balakrishna was born to a Yadav or a Reddy, and cut the call.

Mekala Rathnakumar said that they were being targeted because they belonged to a Backward Community. He said that they had also supported Putta Sudhakar since 2014, but the party's indiscriminate corruption, arbitrary decisions and dictatorial attitude by the senior leaders, forced them to leave the party and join the YSRCP fold. "We have the choice to join whichever party we want, and to abuse the entire family for it is just not correct," Ratna Kumar said.

The video that had social and casteist innuendos has created a buzz in the political circles in Mydukur. Mahesh is an industrialist and heads PSK Infrastructures. He is the son-in-law to the Finance Minister Yanamala Ramakrishnudu, one of the top leaders in the TDP.
