TDP Resorting To Vicious Personal Attacks: Sajjala Ramakrishna Reddy  

Hyderabad: General Secretary of YSR Congress Party and senior party leader, Sajjala Ramakrishna Reddy said that as election hour was approaching, TDP was resorting to wild allegations against YSRCP president YS Jagan Mohan Reddy and the YSRCP. While the ruling party seemed to lose all sense of proportion, the YSRCP and its leaders were demonstrating composure.

The TDP was not commenting on policies and issues, but resorted to vicious personal attacks. TDP was doing this to divert public attention, Ramakrishna Reddy said. He cited the instance of YS Vivekananda Reddy murder and a few days earlier, the data theft case. In both cases the TDP supremo tried to deflect public attention without giving credible replies to key questions.Chandrababu and his favourite media outlets have now started talking about the likelihood of IT raids all over AP, in the next three to four days. The TDP leadership has started blaming PM Modi and YS Jagan in this context. This is yet another diversionary tactic by Chandrababu, Sajjala Ramakrishna Reddy pointed out. The senior YSRCP leader said that some people are getting distracted by such talk. If such IT raids do take place tomorrow by coincidence, the TDP they will point a finger at YSRCP, he said.The YSRCP leader cited the example of Chandrababu coming up with the theory of Operation Garuda using a small-time actor. The TDP chief is prone to plant such seeds of doubt in the minds of people, he said. It was only when there was a murder attempt on YS Jagan on October 25, 2018, that the link became clear, he said.

Chandrababu is trivializing issues and policies and instead of emphasising on what he has done in 5 years has been focussing on criticising YS Jagan Mohan Reddy, Sajjala Ramakrishna Reddy observed.

The TDP chief encouraged defections and bought 23 MLAs of the YSRCP and made 4 of them ministers, in violation of all democratic norms. The fraud perpetrated on people of Andhra Pradesh through deletion of voters' names and adding names of bogus voters was another step to cling to power, he pointed out. Now the YSRCP leaders have learnt that the TDP is using this data to make payments and bribe voters. The senior YSRCP leader said that it is unfortunate that the Treasury department has become a facilitating service endorsing payments done by a private agency. Chandrababu has rendered the state bankrupt, he said.
