Chandrababu Chose Formation Day To Join Hands With A Party That Split AP

Leader of Opposition in Andhra Pradesh Legislative Assembly and YSR Congress Party Chief YS Jagan Mohan Reddy flayed Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu and described him as a politician without values or ethics, driven by opportunism alone. YS Jagan said that Chandrababu was not guided by principles or bound by a philosophy. Reacting to Chandrababu's meeting with Rahul Gandhi in Delhi, the YSRCP chief underscored the irony of this meeting on the day AP was formed way back in 1956. The YSRCP president said that Chandrababu had chosen AP formation day to join hands with a party which was instrumental in splitting up the state without any qualms.

YS Jagan asserted that the Chandrababu had relationship of convenience with the BJP till very recently and had compromised on the lifeline to AP, Special category status. Now, he has entered into a similar relationship for his own political expediency with the Congress. Chandrababu's track record sheds light on his rank opportunism and it would be no surprise if he attempts to sail with the BJP once again in the name of saving the country, YS Jagan observed.
