45 degree Celsius recorded In Telangana towns

Mercury continued to soar in Telangana region with Bhadrachalam, Khammam, Nalgonda and Nizamabad recording high temperature of 45 degrees Celsius as the weatherman attributed the extreme hot conditions to a clear sky and lack of weather activity.Minimum temperatures are appreciably above normal (7 degree Celsius). According to Indian Meteorological Department, “For the next five days, the temperature will be 7 degree Celsius above normal.”

Districts of Anantapur, Chittoor, Kadapa East and West Godavari, Krishna, Guntur and Prakasam and Kurnool of Rayalaseema are likely to experience heat waves. The forecast for coastal Andhra Pradesh was light rain at isolated places. Dry weather is likely over Rayalseema.
