Hyderabad: Rachakonda police arrested three persons on Saturday for extorting money from a businessmen by posing as policemen. The accused are: K Madhu, S Janaiah Chary and J Mahesh.

Acting on a tip-off, SOT officers nabbed the trio and seized Home Guard ID cards from their possession

Cyberabad police said that Madhu worked as a home guard before quitting the service, and with other two used to extort petty sums, from Rs 500 to Rs 1,000 from victims.
