3-Day National Film Festival To Be Held At NIT Warangal

Warangal: A three-day ‘National Film Festival’ at NIT Warangal auditorium is being planned by district tourism department marking 70th anniversary of Indian Independence.

The official said that event is likely to take place either on February 17-19 or February 24- 26 depending on the availability of guest.

The theme of the festival is patriotism and has plans to screen five to six films a day. A prominent Telugu actor would be invited for the inaugural of the festival.

"The festival is being organised at the directions of the Central government to celebrate 70th anniversary of Indian Independence," said M Shivaji, District Tourism Officer.

Speaking about the festival, he said the entry is open to all and the auditorium can accommodate nearly 1,200 audience and is equipped with projector and other required facilities.
