3 chip-making units in State: Union Minister (2)

Union Minister of State for Communications and IT Killi Kruparani on Thursday said Chips and electronic goods factories have been proposed in Ranga Reddy, Srikakulam and Visakhapatnam districts.

She said a new money order system would come into existence shortly by phone. Kruparani said about 227 cell towers would be erected at a cost of Rs 300 crore in the agency areas in the State. An automated mail processing centre would be established in Hyderabad to avoid delay in transit of postal letters, the Union Minister said.
