TDP Members Resort to Stone Pelting During Home Voting in Palnadu

Palnadu: Days before the polling in Andhra Pradesh, the leaders of opposition TDP resorted to physical attacks on the ruling YSRCP cadre in Palnadu on Wednesday. The incident occurred in Sirigiripadu village of Veldurthy mandal.

The TDP workers attacked the female polling agents of YSRCP who were part of the Vote-from-Home process for the citizens above 85 years and persons with disabilities in the district. 

The opposition party workers resorted to stone pelting in which four polling agents of the ruling party were injured. The miscreants also attacked the Veldurthi Sub-inspector Sri Hari and Rama Devi, the wife of MLA Pinnelli Ramakrishna Reddy, who was canvassing for the YSRCP candidate in the area. Several vehicles were damaged in the stone-pelting attack.
