Rajasthan Royals defeated RCB by 29 runs because of Riyan Parag's outstanding batting performance and Kuldeep Sen's clinical bowling performance.

Parag hit an undefeated 56 off 31 balls, including three fours and four sixes.

Kuldeep Sen removed Faf du Plessis and Glenn Maxwell in the same delivery and finished with 4/20 in 3.3 overs.

Rajasthan got off to a shaky start. Openers Devdutt Padikkal and Jos Buttler failed to get the squad off to a good start.

Sanju Samson dismissed for 27 runs. Shimron Hetmyer also went down cheaply, scoring only three runs.

Mohammed Siraj, Josh Hazlewood, and Wanindu Hasaranga took two wickets each

In response,  Virat Kohli got out for 9 runs. Faf du Plessis, who appeared to be in fine form, was removed on 23.

Maxwell was dismissed by a golden duck. R Ashwin then quickly joined the party, dismissing Rajat Patidar for 16 runs.

RCB then continued to lose wickets at regular intervals and were finally bowled out for 115 runs in 19.3 overs.
